General Information

Wedding can be no later than 3:00 p.m. If there is no Mass, the Wedding can be no later than 3:30 p.m. Rehearsal is usually held the evening before the wedding at 7:00 p.m. Wedding stipend: $400.00 if you are a parishioner $500.00 if you are not a parishioner. This includes the donation to the priest. Wedding stipend is needed to secure the wedding date. When you meet with the priest, bring newly issued Baptismal Certificates and the wedding stipend. You will need to sign up for Marriage Preparation and we will require that Certificate. Baptismal Certificates and Marriage Preparation Certificate may be faxed to our office 613-692-3562 If you are not Catholic, we require a signed letter from your parents stating you were never married. The letter must be dated and include contact information. Closer to the wedding, you will need to obtain a marriage licence. These are only valid for 90 days so please ensure it does not expire before your wedding day. The office will contact you to set up an appointment to see the priest.
