The Executive of the Toronto Archdiocesan council of The Catholic Women's League of Canada invites you to attend our 90th Annual Convention on Monday, May 16th and Tuesday, May 17th, 2011 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, 655 Dixon Road, Toronto. The new theme for 2011 is "Centred on Faith & Justice" with the sub theme "Hands and Hearts, Healing the World".  There are a couple of agenda changes this year.  Registration will open earlier on the first day - starting at 9:00 a.m. and there will be a one hour Resolutions dialogue workshop starting at 11:00 a.m. on the Monday to give members the opportunity to review this year's resolutions and give their feedback before the Resolutions Session on Day 2.  Other convention highlights include the opening Eucharist and closing Eucharist; presentation of Annual Reports; the Public Speaking, Poetry and Essay Awards; a Keynote Speaker; Resolutions; 90th Birthday Party; Mentoring Award presentation; Elections; Closing Banquet and the list goes on.  Mark your calendar and plan to be there to have fun, enjoy fellowship and help celebrate 90 years of CWL in Toronto!

91st Annual National CWL Convention
Toronto will be hosting the 91st Annual National CWL Convention which will be held on August 14th-17th, 2011 at the  Marriott Toronto Eaton Centre Hotel in downtown Toronto.  The convention committee has been busy planning, arranging and contracting - now they really need the help of the ladies across Toronto.  Volunteers are need in many areas including ushering, decorations, registration, hospitality, the prayer room, supplies, transporation and the list goes on. goes on. You will have the opportunity to signup at Development Day in February; at your 2011 Spring Regional meetings and at the 2011 Toronto Archdiocesan Convention in May.
