St. Leonard’s Parish Scholarship Program


Thank you for your interest in the St Leonard’s Parish Scholarship Program. We are proud to offer this opportunity to a young Catholic from our Parish, who is graduating from High School this year. This scholarship awards the ability to demonstrate Catholic Identity and Commitment to Christian Values and provides financial assistance for post-secondary education in the amount of $1, 000.

Steubenville Toronto Catholic Youth Conference

St. Leonard Parish is interested in sponsoring two high school students to join the Ottawa Dioceses’ youth group attending the 2019 Steubenville Toronto Catholic Youth Conference (July 12 – 14, 2019). To qualify you must:

  • be in grade 9 – 12
  • be a parishioner of St. Leonard
  • be willing to get up in front of St. Leonard’s 4 masses and speak on your experience at the conference
  • provide a short paragraph on why your Catholic faith is important to you and why you’d like to attend the conference.
All applicants will be reviewed by Parish Council Members and the selected candidates will be contacted directly as well as posted in the March 30th Parish bulletin.
